Pirates of the White Sands is a nonprofit pirate crew based in Panama City, Florida.
We bring together costuming, community events, charity work, living history, and a shared love of pirate culture.
You’ll find us supporting local causes, appearing at festivals and special events, and helping bring a little adventure to the Gulf Coast.
Whether we’re raising funds, entertaining families, or simply showing up in full pirate regalia, the goal is the same: have a damn good time, help the community, and leave things a little better than we found them.

Each year, Pirates of the White Sands helps bring pirate history to life during Panama City Beach’s official Pirates of the High Seas & Renaissance Fest.
Our crew creates a historical encampment and brings sword fighting, living history, educational demonstrations, pirate entertainment, and our ship float to the weekend.
The full festival also includes parades, fireworks, entertainment, and activities throughout the weekend.

Every good crew needs a home port. For Pirates of the White Sands, that place is Grace O’Malley’s in Panama City.
Through the friendship between Captain Ransom and owner Marco Sparrow, Grace O’Malley’s has become a gathering place for the crew — a place to meet, plan adventures, raise a glass, and keep the pirate spirit alive between events.

Pirates of the White Sands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local charities and community programs.
Throughout the year, our crew volunteers, raises funds, makes appearances, and lends a hand to organizations doing good in our area, including Toys for Kids and the Miracle League.
